Robert Pattinson is reportedly selling the home he shared with former girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

"He said there are too many memories," a friend of Pattinson told US Weekly on Aug. 28 about the $6.3 million home, located in the Los Feliz area in Los Angeles, Calif.

The former couple moved into the home, once owned by "ER" star Noah Wyle, in September 2011.

According to the report, it sits on an "an acre and a half of land and has a 150-person screening room and amazing gardens."

The news surfaced less than a week after Pattinson jokingly agreed with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who told him he was "homeless."

"I still am" Pattinson replied. "I rented this archway and I just live behind it. In one of those trash cans."

The move may be the first in a series of steps Pattinson is taking to demonstrate that he's moved on from his breakup with Stewart after learning that she had a tryst on July 17 with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. The "Twilight" co-stars had been dating for three years.

After Stewart publicly apologized for the affair in a statement to People magazine, the British actor moved out of their shared home and reportedly spent two weeks at a luxury ranch in Ojai, Calif., owned by his actress friend Reese Witherspoon.

According to several reports, the pair are on speaking terms again and Pattinson has agreed to meet with her in-person.

An anonymous friend of Stewart's reportedly told UK's Look that Pattinson "feels sorry" for Stewart and he will meet with her, after they talked on the phone for over an hour.

"She begged to meet face to face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her," said the insider. "In fact, he admitted that it must be worse for her because she's not just dealing with heartbreak, but being portrayed as a villain, while he gets all the sympathy."

Pattinson has been promoting the recent release of his independent film "Cosmopolis," which arrived in theaters on Aug. 17.
