Jessica Simpson will make her first public appearance since giving birth to her daughter on Katie Couric's new morning talk show "Katie," on the premiere episode on September 10 on ABC.

The singer and fashion mogul who gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1, will discuss her post baby weight loss, the nasty rumors that have surrounded it and the challenges to get back into shape, according to a press release by Disney on Tuesday.

Simpson has been under much scrutiny for gaining an estimated 70 lbs during her pregnancy. She has a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to shed 50 pounds in five months.

Joining her on the premiere episode will be Sheryl Crow, 50, who wrote the theme song for "Katie." She will talk for the first time about her recently diagnosed brain tumor.

On Tuesday, September 11, Katie will interview Aimee Copeland, a 24-year-old student who lost part of her limbs to a rare flesh-eating bacteria. She will defy all odds and walk for the first time on Katie's stage.

Barbra Streisand will make a rare television appearance to discuss women and heart disease as well as her return performance in Brooklyn.

Jennifer Lopez will also join Couric to talk about her life after "American Idol." Heidi Klum, Demi Lovato, Susan Sarandon, Wendy Williams and Sofia Vergara will also be on "Katie" in the weeks ahead.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James, Sharon and Lexie Love, whose daughter and sister Yeardley was murdered two years ago by her ex-boyfriend at the University of Virginia and Raffaele Sollecito, who was Amanda Knox's boyfriend, will also be on the show in September.
