Her character has been off the canvas for just over a month now, and fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are dying to know who will be replacing Kim Matula as Hope Logan.

Matula announced back in November that she had opted not to renew her contract with the soap, and her final episode aired on Dec. 12. Since her character's exit, Hope's husband, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) has also disappeared to go to Europe and convince his wife to come back to Los Angeles with him (Brooks will be back on the show).

However, with the arrival of Hope's mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) back in L.A. when the show has its landmark 7000th episode, many are wondering if a recast for Hope has been determined-and if the actress who replaced Matula is being kept hush-hush. Wyatt is also expected to come back on the canvas again shortly-meaning fans will expect to see Hope again sometimes soon.

No actress has been confirmed as a possible new Hope Logan, but many have suggested any of the following women could be stepping into either that role, or a new one that will pose a potential other love interest for Wyatt once he returns.

1. Kelly Kruger

The former Young and the Restless star is Brooks' real-life fiancée, meaning they would have fantastic chemistry on-screen. She wouldn't be able to portray Hope however, as she already has a minor role on the show as Eva, the Forrester International PR guru. However, her character could be brought to the L.A. office, leaving her open for a romantic arc there.

2. Julie Marie Berman

The former Lulu Specner-Falconeri from General Hospital has been working outside of the soap opera world since her departure from GH, but rumors have surfaced that she could be on the short-list to replace Matula.

3. Chrishell Stause

Stause finished taping her run as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives a few months ago and is scheduled to be off-screen sometime in March-meaning she is a possible contender for the role as well.

4. Kristen Alderson

The GH star just announced she was leaving the soap and recently finished taping as Kiki Jerome, with many speculating she was jumping over to B&B to get more screen-time. Alderson quickly shut the rumors down however, posting a video to Youtube where she told her fans she was leaving the soap opera world behind for a while.

No one from The Bold and the Beautiful has yet to comment on a potential Hope replacement.
