Christine Ha won the "MasterChef" title on Monday's finale taking home a cash prize of $25,000 and a cookbook publishing deal.

Ha, the first blind cook on MasterChef, took the Season 3 title after an intense battle with chef Joshua Marks to prepare a three-course meal in two hours.

Christine prepared a Thai vegetable salad with crab for an appetizer, a braised pork belly entrée, and a coconut lime sorbet with a ginger tuile for desert.

"My first reaction when I won was just utter shock. I just could not believe it. I was shocked for probably 48 hours. I didn't realize how much I wanted it and how much it was attainable," Ha told TV Guide.

Ha admitted to TV Guide that she wasn't a good cook in college and only knew how to cook "scrambled eggs, toast and instant ramen."

"But once I got an apartment and I had a kitchen I knew that I had to start learning. I went to a secondhand bookstore and bought one or two cookbooks. I think they were Vietnamese recipes. I just looked through there for the easiest recipes and started cooking. It was all trial and error," she told TV Guide in an interview.

MasterChef is currently auditioning for Season 4.
