After an unprecedented opening that saw the dominance of a rookie quarterback, the continued success of the best defense in the NFL and the re-emergence of a superstar who was out all of last season, week 2 of the NFL football season is slated to be equally impressive.

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will renew one of the league's oldest rivalries on Thursday. Soon after, on Sunday, CBS and Fox will showcase the remaining 13 games of the week.

One of the week's biggest matchups of week 2 will feature the New York Jets versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. After suffering a loss to the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers will look to get back on track.

However, the momentum is clearly with the New York Jets, who made a statement against the Buffalo Bills with a 48 point performance in week 1.

The Dallas Cowboys will be taking on the Seattle Seahawks, which is clearly an underrated game that may get lost in the popularity shuffle. Dallas is coming off a big win against the 2011 defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants last week. Although Seattle is considered a mediocre challenge at best, they must continue their excellent play and not take the team for granted.
