Honey Boo Boo Child Show: Kris Jenner Now Denies Knowledge Of TLC Show
It was reported last week that Keeping Up with The Kardashians' Kris Jenner had been talking trash about kiddie pageant star Honey Boo Boo and her mother June Shannon. However, Jenner is now speaking up against those claims by denying any familiarity with the TLC reality show.
"I would never criticize her, because I don't even really know who Honey Boo Boo is. I've never seen the show." Jenner stated.
According to a source close to Radar Online, Jenner had the following thoughts on Shannon, which was reported on Sept. 6: "To say Kris is not a fan of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' is an understatement. She thinks the Thompsons (Honey Boo Boo's family) are classless, unlike her family, and can't understand why America is so fascinated by them."
"Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for 'exploiting' Alana in that way. Kris thinks it's all a ploy to make money, and says she sees through it and thinks it is absolutely disgusting," added the source.
The source went on to further claim that Jenner thought the success of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," which mainly stars 7-year-old Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, is stealing publicity from her family's E! program.
Jenner is currently front and center of another controversy, although it is not direct. NBC is under fire for choosing to air their interview with Jenner instead of taking a moment of silence in honor of the 9/11 victims.
An NBC spokesperson had spoken on behalf of the network regarding their decision to run the reality show star's interview.
"The Today Show dedicated a considerable amount of time to September 11th coverage this morning throughout the entire show."
