Dina Lohan Drunk During 'Dr. Phil' Interview?
Looks like Lindsay isn't the only troubled Lohan.
Dina Lohan sat down with Dr. Phil McGraw to discuss, among other topics, her family and Lindsay's legal troubles and court appearances; however during the show's promo, she seems to have treated the whole interview as a joke, according to RadarOnline.
The "Dr. Phil" episode is set to air Monday, Sept. 17.
"Look at you, you're in your little tie and little shoes," the Lohan matriarch said to Dr. Phil McGraw, while slumping over the sofa and slurring her words.
Dina, 49, was fidgety and giggly throughout the promo while Dr. Phil appeared frustrated.
"I'm not flitting around, I'm being scrutinized by you people," Dina said.
"You people?" Dr. Phil replied back.
Michael Lohan, Dina's troubled ex-husband, made an appearance on the show via satellite and asked, "Was [Dina] drinking before she did your interview?"
Dr. Phil also goes through Lindsay's criminal past, and Dina quickly goes on the defense.
"If she was living in New York, five of them would be obsolete," she said.
During the interview she asked, "Can I go home now?"
Though her behavior in the clip seems bizarre, she told TMZ she was not intoxicated for the interview and blamed editing for the way she came across.
"I don't care what it looks like," Dina said. "I'm fine and I don't care what anyone says."
She went on to explain why she appears the way she does in the promo: "All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That's their job. I don't blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I'm fine. I'm fine."
Don't judge Dina before you see the full interview, she said, while insisting she's a "good mom" to her four children.
"I think the interview will be good. I know what I said and the facts are what the facts are. The proof is in the facts. The truth will set you free."
