'Castle's Beckett Confronts 'Question Of Children' After Big Kidnapping In Next Episode?

Last week's episode of Castle ended with Beckett being taken, with the implication that Dr. Kelly Nieman (Annie Wersching) and Jerry Tyson (Michael Mosley) were involved. This arc concludes Monday night with Castle trying desperately to find his missing wife.

Castle show runner David Amann previewed the episode in a new interview with TVGuide.com.

"Beckett is missing, and there is a tremendous urgency with Castle to try to find her," Amann said. "This is his wife, and [Tyson] is a guy who Castle's well-acquainted with, in terms of past history. He's ruthless [and] we can assume he is going to do the worst. Castle's going to do whatever he can to try to stop that and affect Beckett's recovery."

This recalls a previous Castle two-parter in which Alexis went missing. Castle may do whatever it takes to get Beckett back, no matter the consequences.

"You saw a bit of this in [Castle] in the two-parter when Alexis was taken. He was ready to do damage to people because the fate of his loved ones are at stake. The same is true here," Amann teased. "This is the love of his life, and that's going to make a man do questionable things."

Just how questionable things get remains to be seen, though it should be thrilling to watch. Will Jerry Tyson and Dr. Nieman finally be brought to justice?

Castle airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
