'The Mentalist' Finale: What Does Jisbon's Future Hold? Robin Tunney Talks Lisbon's Plans [VIDEO]
The Mentalist's Jane and Lisbon are finally hitched, so what could their futures look like?
Viewers will never know for sure now that the series is in the history books, but the conclusion of the series hasn't stopped actress Robin Tunney (Lisbon) from wondering.
"You can imagine a different life that's joyful and not filled with dead bodies," Tunney told The Hollywood Reporter, referencing Lisbon's newlywed and mother-to-be status. "It's wonderful because I really loved the character, and the idea of imagining a happy ending for her is really the best-case scenario for me."
There is a slight, albeit nearly miniscule, chance that viewers will see the investigative team once more. Although The Mentalist aired it's CBS series finale, the cast would be opening to doing more episodes for a cable station.
"Of course,' Tunney said when asked, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "And I also love the fact that we're going out with people still wanting more. I think it's the best way to finish."
