Survivor host Jeff Probst has already gone on record in saying the upcoming 30th season may feature the best cast in the show's history and he has now taken his claims one step further.

Probst seems to think very highly of Survivor: Worlds Apart, the 30th season of the show that divides the players by socioeconomic status, white collar, blue collar and "no collar." The host has previously said that this may be their best cast of all time.

Now, in speaking with Parade magazine, Probst said in a new interview that former Survivor fans who have dropped out a long time ago may want to tune in for this upcoming premiere of Survivor: Worlds Apart.

"I'll tell you: I think this is the season that if you've never watched Survivor, or if you used to watch and then you dropped out, watch this premiere," he asserted. "If you're not in all the way, you'll never be in. This is a good season."

He has been very praiseworthy of the cast and having already filmed the season back in the summer of 2014, he said that the winner may go on to become one of the most popular winners ever.

"It would not surprise me if the winner of Season 30 became one of the favorite winners of all time," he said. "I do think when this season is over, the audience will feel that whoever has won has absolutely earned it, and this is a very good season of Survivor played very hard by very good players. That's why I like this group. They play. There is no monkeying around. There won't be anyone saying, 'Well, there wasn't really any strategy this year...' No. There's strategy from the get go."

It remains to be seen if hardcore Survivor fans will be as taken with the new season as Probst appears to be, though it is definitely a good sign that there is so much buzz behind it already.

Survivor: Worlds Apart is slated to premiere Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
