'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: A Fight Breaks Out On Coulson Team In SNEAK PEEK, Alien City & Trip's Death Cause A Rift [VIDEO]
Trip's Agents of SHIELD death will cause more than just grief amongst Coulson's team.
There is one agent who hasn't kept his dislike for Coulson's (Clark Gregg) recent extraterrestrial obsessions to himself, and Mack (Henry Simmons) will let a little of his frustrations leak out in "Aftershocks." The underground city released its hold on the mechanic, but Mack will not quickly shed the emotional trauma of having his brain hijacked (see a sneak peek below).
"[It] really throws everybody. There's a grieving process. People have serious questions about what we were doing [in the temple]," Gregg told TV Guide. "And Coulson has to, at the same time, entertain those [questions] and also, kind of support [his choices]. He wouldn't make any of those choices any differently, but it's hard not to think about retroactively the logic that he and Skye have the same material inside of them."
Meanwhile, Mack's annoyance at the director may funnel into Mockingbird's (Adrianne Palicki) little side project. The nature of Bobbi's secret mission is still unknown, but upcoming episode summaries indicate that viewers will quickly start to see its effects.
