'Teen Wolf' MTV: Who Is The Desert Wolf? Shelley Hennig Dishes On Season 5 Story [VIDEO]
The Desert Wolf will be back on Malia's mind when Teen Wolf returns for season 5.
Braeden's (Meagan Tandy) nemesis and Malia's (Shelley Hennig) alleged mother, the Desert Wolf is one of the great mysteries as the MTV drama moves into its summer season. While her location is unknown, it is something that Malia is more than a little interested in uncovering.
"One of the last things said in the last episode of Season 4 was about the Desert Wolf. As an actress, I read that and assumed it would be a part of this next season," Hennig explained to TV Line. "I do think it's important for Malia to figure out who that is, and I think we do start to explore that. It's important to the character, so I hope we see a lot of that."

While it sounds like the Desert Wolf may not play a large role in early episodes, series creator Jeff Davis previously promised that the issue will be addressed in the 10-episode season.
"We're definitely going to be working on that storyline next season," Davis informed Entertainment Weekly, following the season 4 finale.
