'Real Housewives of New York' Reunion: Caroline Radziwill Accused of Smoking Marijuana, Aviva Drescher Calls Self 'Trashy' and 'Ungracious'
All hell broke loose on the "Real Housewives of New York" reunion: one housewife was accussed of smoking pot, one argued against cheating allegations and one took responsibility for her actions (yes, we're still talking about "Housewives," surprisingly).
On Sept. 20, the "New York" cast taped the reunion at the Museum of American Finance.
The first problem to arise on set: issues of secrecy.
Even though the ladies didn't know where the taping was taking place and could not use their cell phones, a picture was still leaked.
"All hell broke lose when a picture taken of the screen in the green room was tweeted out," one cast member told the Huffington Post. "Everyone's phone was searched, and the culprit was discovered to be someone that worked with Sonja Morgan. It wasn't pretty."
But don't worry, most of the drama took place on camera. LuAnn de Lesseps had to defend her actions on the St. Barths' trip, which included bringing a Johnny Depp look-a-like to their vacation home.
According to a senior cast member that spoke with the Huffington Post, "LuAnn [de Lesseps] tried to explain her night with the handsome man who was not her boyfriend, whom she invited back to the vacation house, but denied anything happened. The best part of the day was when Sonja [Morgan] started barking like a dog when getting into the fact that her pup had died. Carole [Radziwill], who is usually witty, was stunned being called out by the women on the couch -- especially when Ramona [Singer] accused her of smoking pot."
Although maturity is a rarity on any of "Housewives" series, Aviva Drescher admitted her wrongs and showed remorse for calling Morgan and Ramona Singer "white trash" during the St. Barths vacation.
A housewives said, "But the biggest surprise came when Aviva Drescher, who stunned the ladies when confronted about calling two of them white trash, answered, 'There was one person in St Barts who was trashy and ungracious ... and that person was me!'"
As for Andy Cohen, he was agitated with Singer.
"It was funny that Ramona had a cold that day and kept coughing all over the host. He couldn't stand it every time she coughed,"
The ladies had quite a long day of arguing.
"It was supposed to start at 9 a.m., but we didn't start until 11," a source close to the production said. "Every 90 minutes, we got a break, and we had a 60-minute lunch break at 1:30 p.m. The cast all went to private hotel rooms for lunch and wanted to be apart. They finished at 7:30 p.m..
