Hannibal is nearing the end of season 3 filming, which can only mean one things for fans - devastation.

Bryan Fuller's NBC psychological thriller is known for ending it's seasons in bloody and heart wrenching fashion, and it is doubtful that the season 3 conclusion will be rainbows and unicorns (maybe a stag or two though, you never know).
"The HANNIBAL cast and crew head into spring with another two months of filming episodes 310-313," executive producer Martha De Laurentiis announced in the production company's newsletter on Monday. "As I mentioned in last month's newsletter, John Dahl is directing Episode 310. Preparation also is underway for Episode 311, and we are excited that Michael Rymer is back to direct!"

Fuller and Co. took a short break over the last two weeks for editing, although some of the crew has joked that it was really because they ran out of blood.
"Tomorrow #Hannibal begins its final push to finish shooting S3," boom operator Sean Armstrong teased on Sunday. " I think we took the two weeks off to have extra blood made..."
That little bit of ribbing does not bode well for those hunting Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and the Toothfairy (Richard Armitage), and ensures that the series will defiantly have plenty of gorey - yet beautifully staged - murder scenes in store for the summer season.
