'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2 Spoilers: When Will Skye's Secret Come Out? Chloe Bennet Dishes On Fitz's Help, Simmons' Problem [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD is rife with secrets following the midseason premiere.
From Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) to Fitz (Iain de Caestecker) and Skye (Chloe Bennet), Coulson's (Clark Gregg) agents aren't being entirely truthful with each other. Unfortunately, some of their lies may be slightly more malicious than others (we're looking at you Bobbi and Mack).
Luckily for viewers, it won't be long before Coulson and Co. are let in on Skye and Fitz's deception.
"We will see this obviously unravel in the next couple of episodes," Bennet told Entertainment Weekly. "How it does, I cannot tell you. Things get interesting."
In the meantime, however, Fitz is determined to help Skye keep her little condition under wraps. Trip's (BJ Britt) death has turned the SHIELD team into a mass of unstable dynamite with a bit of anti-alien sentiment. After being robed of several scientists down in the tunnels, the normally levelheaded Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) is ready to strike down any supernatural entity that comes near her family.
"Simmons is talking about how much they should not be here, and this is in the midst of Skye realizing that Simmons is pretty much talking about her," Bennet explained. "That instills more fear in her and makes her want to hide everything even more. It makes her even more appreciative of Fitz. We'll probably see this unravel sometime in the future."
