'The Voice' Results Tonight 2015 VIDEO: Season 8 Battle Round Night 1, Who Was Eliminated? Watch Mia Z, Tonya Boyd-Cannon, and Brian Johnson
The Voice celebrated the end of the Blind Auditions, kicking off the Battle Rounds with the first elimination of season 8.
Coaches Adam Levin, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aquilera and Blake Shelton spent the last two weeks building up their teams, capping off their 12-person teams on Monday. Once each competitor had a home, the Battle Round began. Each hopeful will go up against another member of their team and either be saved by their coach, eliminated by their coach, or saved by another team.
The final five additions from the Blinds capped off the teams as follows: Nathan Hermida went to Team Adam, Paul Pfau and Caitlin Caporale went to Team Pharrell, Vance Smith went to Team Christina, and Hannah Kirby went to Team Blake Shelton.
In the first Battles, Mia Z, Tonya Boyd-Cannon, and Brian Johnson were declared safe while James McNiece was eliminated and Levine rescued both Ashley Morgan and Joshua Davis.
The four teams are now composed of:
Team Adam: Barry Minniefield, Blaze Johnson, Bren'nae DeBarge, Deanna Johnson, Jack Gregori, Josh Batstone, Lexi Dávila, Micharl Leier, Nicolette Maré, Tonya Boyd-Cannon, Nathan Hermida, Ashley Morgan, and Joshua Davis
Team Blake: Bay Brooks, Brenna Yaeger, Brian Johnson, Brooke Adee, Cody Wickline, Corey Kent White, Jacob Rummell, Kelsie May, Matt Snook, Sarah Potenza, and Hannah Kirby.
Team Pharrell: Anthony Riley, Briar Jonne, Kimberly Nichole, Lowell Oakley, Meghan Linsey, Noelle Bybee, Sawyer Fredricks, Travis Ewing, Paul Pfau, and Caitlin Caporale
Team Christina: Ameera Delandro, Clinton Washington, Gabriel Wolfchild, India Carney, Jeremy Gaynor, Joe Tolo, Kately Read, Koryn Hawthorne, Rob Taylor, Sonic, Treeva Gibson, and Vance Smith.
