'Real Housewives of New Jersey': Teresa Giudice Returns to 'Anderson Live,' Host Admits He Was 'Aggressive' (VIDEO)
Teresa Giudice supporters took to Twitter after Anderson Cooper's harsh Sept. 26 interview with the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star. Giudice returned to the show the following day.
In the beginning of the Sept. 27 "Anderson Live" show, Cooper admitted, "I felt like I was little aggressive with her and I wasn't comfortable with that so we asked her to come back to talk about it."
During his first interview with Giudice, he had made several questionable comments including "you seem really mean," "you're not 12 years old" and "So, you're saying you're the victim all the time?"
After the first interview, Jacqueline Laurita sent Cooper a response to Giudice's statements, which included Giudice saying, "I did reach out to her, I texted her."
Giudice claimed she wrote Laurita: "I'm sorry to hear about your son. Hope all goes well."
Giudice also said: "It's gone further than that. If I show you the texts she sent to me it's like ... If it keeps going, eventually I am going to go to the cops because I want her to leave me alone. I did nothing to her. When I get texts from her I get chills throughout my body because I am like 'why?' I haven't spoken to her in a year. I never reach out to her."
Cooper read Jacqueline Laurita's statement: "Teresa's only reply about my son after I had reached out to her a week later was 'Sorry about your son. Take care.' I don't consider that reaching out. Maybe I'm wrong. My frustrations come from Teresa badmouthing me behind the scenes, in the industry, in our social circles. And how she uses others close to her to attack her. This whole war is completely unnecessary. The friendship is over. My wish is to agree that we disagree and keep each other's names out of each other's mouths."
In response, Giudice explained how she had known about Laurita's youngest son Nicholas' autism diagnosis for more than a year.
She told Cooper, "I was loyal to her. ... She didn't want everyone else to know and I gave her that respect."
