The Voice ousted six competitors on Monday as the series entered night 2 of the Battle Rounds.

With several rounds to an episode, the Battle Rounds pit singers from each team against each other. Winners advance to "The Battles, Round 2" (previously the "Knockout Rounds") while losers are either stolen by another coach or eliminated completely.

Team Pharrell Williams opened Tuesday's competition, pitting Anthony Riley against Travis Ewing. Riley's version of Get Ready kept him safe on Pharrell's team while Team Blake Shelton quickly snagged Ewing. Later, Paul Pfau managed to impress with Don't Let Me Down, and Shelton quickly swooped in to claim his failed competitor, Meghan Linsey.

Coach Christina Aguilera's contestants were not quite as lucky as Ewing. Sonic and Joe Tolo managed to retain their standing on Team Xtina thanks to their performances of For the First Time and Masterpiece, but Ameera Delandro and Gabriel Wolfchild were both sent packing with no recourse from The Voice's other coaches.

Team Adam Levine's evening played out much the same as Team Christina's. The Maroon 5 frontman held on to Deanna Johnson, Nathan Hermida, and Blaze Johnson while allowing Nicholette Maré, Joshon Bastone, and Michael Leier to leave the stage for the final time.

Shelton made up for his losses by picking up other team's rejects, replacing Hannah Kirby and Matt Snook with Linsey and Ewing. Kirby ultimately went to Team Pharrell while the country artist saved Cody Wickline and Sarah Potenza.
