The latest "Bachelor" Chris Soules has something to prove when he transitions to the world of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Fans wanting more Soules on their televisions are in luck because he will be one of 12 new celebrities competing on Dancing With the Stars. Partnered with last year's pro winner Witney Carson, he is hoping to show that he has rhythm.

"I think the assumption is farmers don't dance and that I'm going to go out there and look like a complete idiot," Soules told People this week. "I'm going to try to prove that farmers can dance!"

After proposing to now fiancée Whitney Bischoff, Soules quipped that it will be easy for him now that he has two W[h]itneys in his life.

"It's a good thing [her name is Witney]," Soules joked. "I am of a very small mind and a short memory so it just keeps it simple!"

Soules is also pretty well known for not being able to carry a tune, so he is hoping to prove that his dance skills are better than that.

"I think Americans think I can dance about as good as I can sing!" he noted.

Meanwhile, Bischoff will be heading to Los Angeles to live with Soules as he competes on the show and she has completely confidence in her former bachelor.

"Hopefully we'll be in L.A. for a while because Chris is going to take home that mirror-ball trophy.] He's got rhythm!" she said.

Dancing With the Stars season 20 begins Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
