'The 100' Season 2: Richard Harmon Becomes Series Regular, What's Next For The City Of Light Story? [VIDEO]
The 100's City of Light storyline is inextricable ties to Murphy, and it looks like his story will take a larger role in season 3.
Richard Harmon, the actor behind the ever-deadly Murphy, will become a series regular when The 100 returns next fall.
"HEY #THE100 FANS... I FEEL LIKE BREAKING SOME NEWS: @RICHARDSHARMON IS OFFICIALLY A SERIES REGULAR IN SEASON 3!! IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!" series creator Jason Rothenberg announced on Wednesday.

Murphy set out of Jaha's desert quest to find the proverbial Promised Land, but what they found instead was much more deadly. The two Arkers stumbled across Alie, a highly advanced AI system that appears to have caused the nuclear holocaust 97 years ago. Didn't anyone learn anything from 2001: A Space Odyssey? AI has a habit of turning deadly.
"Futuristic, yes, but in a weird way, it's also going to go back to the past," Rothenberg said of season 3, according to TV Line. "2052 is when the world ended, and it's 97 years after that that the show began, so one of the things we're doing with this ending is getting back to how it all began. It's a totally new element for the show. It's a more technological thing, for sure. We're going to play with how the world ended in the first place, and hopefully, we'll upend some expectations."
Do you think it's a good idea for Murphy to be around what appears to be an apocalypse machine? Sound off in the comments below.
