Picking up after Beacon Hill High's summer break, the fifth season will put most of Scott's pack in their senior year. As the Alpha, Stiles, Lydia, Kira, and Malia prepare for college, the supernatural world and the prospect of college will cause tension amongst the battle-tested pack.
"I can tease very little because I prefer to be able to change my mind later on, but it's definitely a season of growing," series creator Jeff Davis said at Paley Fest, according to Seat42F. "A season of seeing of seeing our teenagers turn into adults and question whether their going to be able to keep their friends. A lot of high schoolers have the fear that when you graduate you move on and you lose your friends. That's something that happens everywhere I think. So it's going to be very much about can Scott keep his pack of friends together."
