The 100's post-apocalyptic world is not easy on teenage relationships, particularly for Clarke Griffin.

'The 100' Season 2: Richard Harmon Becomes Series Regular, What's Next For The City Of Light Story?

Now that Finn is in the ground, the CW series has a chance to explore the possibilities of Clexa and Bellarke. With the sting of Lexa's betrayal and he subsequent Mount Weather massacre fresh in her mind, however, Clarke seems ultimately unavailable.

Executive producer Jason Rothenberg assures viewers that is not entirely true.

"Anything can happen... And probably will," Rothenberg said when asked which relationship is more likely to form in season 3.

The reasons behind a stall in the Clexa 'ship are clearly obvious, ranging from Clarke statement that she wasn't ready to move on quite yet to the fact that Lexa essentially left the Sky People to their deaths. The status of Clarke and Bellamy's relationship, however, is a little more complicated.

"It's clear to me that these two people have come to need each other and respect each other and love each other on some pretty deep level," Rothenberg informed E! Online. "Obviously it's not romantic, certainly for Clarke anyway, and it's never been vocalized that it is for Bellamy either. You could read as much as you want in their body language and their eyes, but that's something that is being put off again as a result of Clarke's walkabout."
