New Dancing With the Stars pair Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson are reportedly taking their partnership off the dance floor as well.

Herjavec, 52, is apparently now dating Johnson, 38, according to a new report from TMZ. The report claims that the pair have been very open about their relationship and essentially started dating after they met in February.

The report also says that the very wealthy Herjavec promised Johnson that he would buy her a Ferrari if they went on to win Dancing With the Stars.

The Shark Tank panelist scored a 28 out of 40 for his first dance with Johnson on Monday. This put them at no. 4 on the overall leaderboard of 12 couples, which suggests they may be in the competition for a while.

Meanwhile, DWTS judges Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli talked to The Associated Press about the prevalence of "showmances" and why they tend to come up almost every year on the show.

"It's the most vulnerable position you can be in without being in a relationship," Hough observed. "You're sweating. You're extremely close. You're vulnerable. You can either break down or celebrate at any given moment. That's what a relationship is and it is physical because you're dancing. ... A lot of couples do get together (romantically)."

"To make it actually work and make it effective there has to be this total trust and abandon," Tonioli added. "To make a performance absolutely stand out there has to be that connection. Two people become one. Sometimes a little romance may blossom."

Even Inaba said she was "rooting for" season 18 champions Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy to get together.

It will be interesting to see how much the show reveals about this potentially blossoming romance and if it will impact votes at all for Herjavec and Johnson.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
