'Real Housewives of New Jersey:' Kim D Admits to Setting Up Melissa Gorga's Stripper Ambush, Says Teresa Giudice Was Not Involved
Kim DePaola (called Kim D on the show), an unofficial cast member of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," admitted she was behind, what's now known as, the "strippergate" incident -- not Teresa Giudice.
Kim D confessed that she was behind the setup that exposed Melissa Gorga's alleged stripper past.
"Did I know what I was getting us into? Yes. Did Teresa? Not at all," Kim told Star magazine.
On the season four finale, Kim D insisted that Teresa go with her to a salon before the Posche fashion show. It just so happened that a man named Angelo Voorhees worked there - and he used to be the owner of Lookers Gentlemen's Club. Turns out he knew Melissa because, he claimed, she used to be a stripper at the club.
Voorhees approached Melissa at the fashion show saying, "Hi Melissa, you remember me right?"
Melissa was uncomfortable and made small talk with him, though she said she didn't recall where she knows him from.
Melissa has insisted she was only a bartender at Lookers, which she claimed was technically a bikini bar. Melissa also said she worked there for only a week because she "hated it."
Kim D told Star, "I know for a fact Melissa worked at Lookers and was a dancer. Not only have eyewitnesses told me, random people have come into my store, Posche Boutique, saying she was a dancer not a bartender."
Always the pot stirrer, Kim D mentioned, "Melissa doesn't like the word stripper, so we'll call her a dancer."
Kim D's story has changed a lot since last year, when her rep told RadarOnline that she had nothing to do with Melissa's ambush.
Now that Kim D has admitted to being behind the whole incident, will Melissa and Teresa be able to reconcile their relationship?
"There's way too much water under the bridge. There's no hope for them ever having a good relationship. It's done," Kim D said.
During the season finale, Joe Gorga and Kim D got into an argument. He yelled, "Get out of my face ... You talk a lot of shit. ...You are the scum of the earth. You're so drunk and high you can't even walk. Go sniff another line."
In the magazine, Kim D claimed Joe raised his fist to her face.
Looks like nothing is getting resolved on the "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" three-part reunion.
