The cast is eager and ready to begin production for Longmire's fourth season.

'Longmire' Gets A Big 'Welcome' In Santa Fe

Actress Katee Sackhoff (Victoria) arrived in Santa Fe on Thursday brimming with enthusiasm and promising that her character will offer up some "terror" ahead.

Premiere Date Coming For 'Longmire' This Fall

Sackhoff will be joining Cassidy Freeman (Cady), Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry Standing Bear), and Walt (Robert Taylor), all of whom have already arrived in the region.

Production will begin on Monday and while the cast and crew are accustomed to filming in Santa Fe, New Mexico things will be a little different this season.

While the show previously aired on A&E for its first three seasons, the popular crime drama is now part of the Netflix lineup. This means that each episode will run about ten minutes longer and the content will be more loosely regulated. The program is no longer required to operate under certain restrictions regarding nudity, violence, and language.

Whether or not the writers have chosen to utilize this newfound freedom, however, is still undetermined.

The new season will kick off right where season three ended, with Walt investigating his wife's murder. There will also be answers regarding that fateful, final gunshot which turned the last moments of the episode into a major cliffhanger.

Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix at the beginning of this fall.
