iZombie's lackadaisical Liv will get a supercharged boost of passion in "Brother, Can You Spare A Brain?'

'iZombie' Spoilers: Meet Blaine DeBeers, 'Kingpin Of Brains' & Zombie Number Two

Ever since poor Liv Moore (Rose McIver) became a member of Seattle's undead, the formerly hyper-driven med student has dropped into a couch potato stupor. When a famous artist lands in the morgue, however, his brain matter will not only create a nice snack for the zombie, but it will also give Liv a new lease on life.

Brush in hand and a fresh canvas on her easel, Liv will shock her family once more when the murder victim's penchant for painting transfers to her.

"Liv has been an ambitious, head-in-her-books med student and art was something, in her pre-zombie days, that she never took the time to appreciate," series creator Rob Thomas explains in a featurette.

Unfortunately, this new found passion will also transfer into Liv's currently nonexistent love life. Liv's first post-death attempt at flirtation will be more than a little humorous.

"The brain is also of someone who is very passionate," series creator Diane Rugguerio-Wright teased. "Since becoming a zombie, passion hasn't really been on the table for her so we get to have fun with her hitting on people and being a little bit more randy."

From Major (Robert Buckley) to Clive's (Malcolm Goodwin) suspects, Liv will be busy testing out her new talents.
