Amanda Clarke will finally shed the guise of Emily Thorne on the ABC drama, dropping the persona she carefully honed for herself over the last four years. It's a bombshell Amanda/Emily should have dropped in the season 4 premiere, but the vengeance-seeker could not let go of her role as the illicit "Lady Justice."

"What does a person do once when they finish their life's mission? She had a plan before, which was disappearing with Aiden in yet another new, manufactured identity. But that dream was derailed by Victoria," explained writer Ted Sullivan last summer, according to EmilyThorne.org. "So, now Emily needs to redefine herself alone. But she's unwilling to leave the Hamptons or even this fake identity. Why is that? Is she more Emily than Amanda now? Or is holding on to the Emily persona a way to hold on to Aiden? Or is there some other reason behind this choice?"

Unfortunately, Victoria will come along and mess up Emily/Amanda's plans once more during "Exposure."

"Emily faces a promising future as Amanda Clarke until Victoria uncovers devastating new secrets from her past," ABC teased in regards to episode 19.
