“Glee” will be airing an all new episode on Thursday night titled “The Break Up.” The hit Fox show’s latest installation is set to be an emotional rollercoaster, as the main storyline will feature the splitting up of multiple couples.

Both Kurt and Rachel will be caught totally off-guard when they are unexpectedly visited in New York by their significant others. Also, the left-back Brittany and her best friend Santana will address the long-distance that has currently caused a rift between them. Will and Emma will face their share of turmoil, as they quarrel over a potential job offer.

Although many fans have been left wondering about Finn’s time in the army and why he hasn’t made any attempts at contacting Rachel, he does confront the uncertainty over his future.

Moving forward, “Glee” will air its fifth episode on Nov. 8, due to the upcoming Major League Baseball playoffs.

In the equally anticipating episode, Monteith will perform Foreigner’s “Juke Box Hero” along with Season 2 “Glee Project” winner Blake Jenner.

“It was cool, because I felt like I was passing the torch in a sort of awesome way. Ryder inadvertently auditions [for New Directions], and it turns into a fantasy in his head, which explodes into dancing girls, throngs of screaming women in the crowd, and he turns into the ‘Juke Box Hero.’ He’s on drums, and I’m on lead vocals. It’s epic,” Monteith said.

Glee’s “The Break Up” episode will be showing on Thursday, Oct. 4th on Fox at 9 PM ET.
