Corey (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) daughter will finally get to go on a (chaperoned) date with Lucas (Peyton Meyer) in "Girl Meets First Date," and it's safe to say Corey will be more than a little freaked out about the impending affair. The history teacher won't have his best pal Shawn on hand to commiserate with, but that doesn't mean Strong wasn't involved with the episode.
The Boy Meets World alum eschewed his recurring role as Shawn for the season 1 finale, instead opting to head behind the camera for the big date.

"Working with Ben and Danielle is great, directing them is a dream because we know each other so well and they're great actors," Strong told E! Online, explaining that directing the series' young stars was also a breeze. "I sort of know exactly what it's like to be a 13-year-old acting on a TV show for the Disney Channel because I did it for seven years and so the kids and I really connected."
