'Doctor Who' Matt Smith To Play Newt Scamander [POLL]? Rumored Casting For 'Fantastic Beasts'

The series took a brief trip to Spain in order to film "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar" (episodes 1 and 2 of season 9), but the Time Lord and the TARDIS were spotted outside Castell Coch and Port Talbot Margam Castle during the last week of March.

Located not far from the series' Cardiff headquarters, the two locations will most likely be featured in episode 5 of season 9. Spotted by fans, Peter Capaldi (Twelfth Doctor) appeared to be sans companion for the two shoots, according to Wales Online and the South Wales Evening Post.
