Actor Jason Biggs still wants to come back to Netflix's Orange Is the New Black even though he won't be in season 3 this summer.

'Orange Is the New Black's Taylor Schilling Reveals Why She Doesn't Give Out Spoilers

Biggs, who plays Piper's (Taylor Schilling) mostly detestable former fiancé Larry on Orange Is the New Black, revealed why he won't return for season 3 of the series to HuffPost Live.

"It's not a Larry season," he stated. "They have a lot of characters to service on that show and, at the end of the day, it's a women's prison show. Larry is not a woman or in prison. But, the good news is with a show like that, there's always the possibility that he could come back. And, I would go back in a heartbeat."

'Orange Is the New Black' Could Defeat 'Game of Thrones,' 'House of Cards' At Emmys

Though Biggs will not appear at all in the third season, he is still interested to see how it all turns out.

"I'm actually really excited to see season 3, and talking to a bunch of people over there, I think it's going to be pretty awesome," he admitted.

During season 2, Larry and Piper gradually grew apart and Larry wound up with Piper's best friend Polly (Maria Dizzia). The pair asked for Piper's "blessing" to start dating. Piper then asked Larry and Polly to snitch on Alex (Laura Prepon), saying that she was going to violate her parole, ultimately allowing Alex to come back to prison.

With Prepon returning a series regular in season 3, it would seem like there really is no use for Larry at the time being. Biggs was a series regular in the first two seasons but it's possible that he will return for season 4 if the story calls for it.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated to be released on Netflix on Friday, June 12.
