'Real Housewives of Orange County': Alexis Bellino Gets 'Bullied' by Heather Dubrow & Tamra Barney
When Alexis Bellino left the "Real Housewives of Orange County", she assumed there would be no more drama.
But quitting the series has proven to be ineffective when it comes to former cast members Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow's snide remarks.
In late September, she told People magazine: "After three seasons of appearing on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' I have made the difficult decision not to return for season 8. Although Bravo made me a very generous offer and I'm thankful to have had this experience, I will be leaving the show behind to focus on my family and other opportunities."
Things began to get ugly on Oct. 4 when the Twitter account @RHOGossip linked to a story of Dubrow denying that Bellino quit and that she was, in fact, fired.
Bellino tweeted Dubrow, "Do I need 2release my offer letter 2the media & make u look like a fool? Stick to what you know HD...being mean."
"When you are offered a return & you ask 4 more $ & they say 'never mind'. That's a clue . I'm honest, not mean," Dubrow tweeted on Oct. 5.
Barney then joined in the conversation on Oct. 7: "exactly! When an offer is rescinded because you're too difficult to deal with = you're fired , Not your choice!"
Bellino defended herself: "Wrong again! This behavior both of u r showing is exactly why I said no! #stopbullying!"
A fan of the show then added,"alexis it's not bullying, it's calling you out!"
On Oct. 8, the former Orange County housewife replied, "No, you haven't walked in my shoes,& even when I quit, they don't leave me alone. Bullying is not cool on any level."
This isn't he first time Bellino has accused the housewives of bullying her.
In July, Bellino and her husband told Us Weekly that Barney made a "vicious and malicious attack on our family."
Allegedly, Alexis left the show because she was sick of fighting with all of her co-stars and wanted to keep the focus on her children.
A RadarOnline source said, "She wants to have a normal life with her family, and that doesn't include all of the drama that comes with being on the show. Alexis knows that her children are the most important thing in her life, not being famous or being on television, so she made the decision to not be on the show and to return to her regular life."
Barney has spoken out about Bellino's exit from the lucrative "RHOOC."
"Let's just say the story I read and what I was told does not match," Barney tweeted on Sept. 18. "In my opinion her story is never straight! Not the same story I was told ...let's keep it at that...Who leaves a successful show?"
