The Voice bid farewell to five contestants as the Knockout Rounds headed into night 3 on Monday.

Unlike the Battle Rounds, each coach is only allowed to save one ousted musician during the Knockouts. Heading into the final night of the round, Coaches Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams, and Adam Levine had already exhausted their limited saves, leaving the field wide open for Christina Aguilera to take her pick.

Aguilera waited until the last performance of the night to make her move. After watching Team Adam's Joshua Davis and Lexi Dávilla face off, the pop sensation decided to save Dávila when Levine opted to keep Davis. As for her own team's knockout performances, Aguilera chose to retain India Carney and Rob Taylor while bidding farewell to Joe Tolo and Treeva Gibson.

Levine, meanwhile, also decided to keep Tonya Boyd-Cannon after her performance of I Wish trumped Barry Minniefeild's rendition of What You Won't Do For Love.

Shelton bid adieu to Kelsi May after her version of Tim McGraw fell flat but opted to keep Brooke Adee following her performance of Electric Feel. Williams also only had two contestants in the mix on Monday and their battle led the hip-hop artist to hold on to Lowell Oakley while cutting Jacob Rummell loose.
