'Melrose Place' Cast Reunites on 'GMA,' Heather Locklear Said Show was 'Highlight of my Career' (VIDEO)
Just like the cast of the movie "Clueless," the co-stars of the show "Melrose Place" were reunited on "Good Morning America" in honor of this week's Entertainment Weekly Reunions Issue.
Though their interview with "GMA" correspondent Amy Robach took place a month ago, it was featured on the morning show on Oct. 8.
The show was a spinoff of the popular "Beverly Hills: 90210." The Fox show brought over-the-top storylines, romance and drama to pop culture from 1992-1999.
Heather Locklear started as a guest star on "Melrose Place" before becoming a regular on the series.
She said the series was "definitely the height of my career." Locklear, who played Amanda Woodward, loved playing such a ruthless character.
"When I saw this show before I was on it ... I said 'Oh, my God, that group looks fun to be with. I want to be on that show,'" she said. "It's been a really special cast."
The cast reminisced over the show's ridiculous plot lines.
Actress Daphne Zuniga, who played Jo Reynolds, recalled a lot of intimate moments between her and costar Grant Show, who played Jack Hanson.
"There was no plot," she said. "There was just kissing."
Zuniga also remembered another warped incident involving her character and Marcia Cross' mentally unstable Dr. Kimberly Shaw.
"It was a very dramatic plotline I had with Marcia. I had a baby and then I think she kidnapped it, but first she induced it ... Then she breast-fed my baby."
Although the actors have played other roles and have written books, they are still recognized from "Melrose Place," one of their first major acting gigs.
Locklear said, "Some people call me Heather Lockwood instead of Heather Locklear."
