With the bar set uncharacteristically high, "Sons of Anarchy" will kick off its fifth episode of the season on Tuesday. While television show studies have shown that 10 p.m. Tuesday programming time slot usually struggles to stay relevant in the 18-49 demographic, the FX hit drama has easily put that assumption to rest, as it pulled in 4.6 million viewers on Oct. 2; a 14% viewer increase.

The drama's latest episodic details have been revealed and they surely shouldn't disappoint fans. Many fans are on the edge of their seats awaiting the next few upcoming episodes, which should ultimately set the stage for an altercation between SAMCRO and Damon Pope. The aforementioned showdown, should culminate a feud that has been a couple years running.

In "Orca Shrugged," Jax and Nero will continue building their latest business venture together, which will be a stretch considering the flak that's still present due to Opie's tragic death that occurred two episodes ago.

Season 5 of the hit show began with the crowning of Jax and Tara as the biker club's new king and queen. The decision was made after the facts behind John Teller's (Jax's father) death were revealed. Linked to Teller's passing was former Sons leader Clay, who gets stripped of his patch in the aftermath of it all. Gemma (Jax's mother) must also face a life minus the comfort of her own family due to her association with the dirty deed. With the increasing threat of RICO still in the balance, Jax must continually figure out a way to protect both his family and SAMCRO.

Work on the "Sons of Anarchy" season finale is currently underway and reportedly began on Oct. 8, which means that the complete season of the show should wrap within the next few weeks.

The latest information comes after Deadline had reported a supposed on set shouting match between "Sons" creator Kurt Sutter and actor Tommy Flanagan (Chibbs). However, the writer had taken to Twitter to address the rumored account saying "we just call it creative discourse."

"Sons of Anarchy" will be airing its latest episode on the FX network on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 10 PM ET.
