'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: A Letter From Dean Is Always Bad, Jensen Ackles Pens A Note For Finale [VIDEO]
You never want to receive a note from Supernatural's Dean Winchester.
It's generally heartbreaking when anyone receives a letter on The CW drama, Bobby (Jim Beaver) proved that in spades on Tuesday, but a message from Dean (Jensen Ackles) is often particularly traumatizing. In the past, the hunter has used the format as a last-ditch effort to say a final goodbye, and it looks like the hunter will pen another farewell during the season 10 finale.
"Had to help out the props department today with a little handwritten note," Ackles teased on Tuesday. "Any ideas? #SupernaturalFinale."
To prepare for a possibly tear-jerking "My Brother's Keeper" moment, lets take a look back at Dean's previous letters to Sam and Bobby.
Season 5: "Point of No Return"
Dean, fearing Sammy (Jared Padalecki) would eventually wear Lucifer to the prom, prepared to say "yes" to Michael in the run up to "Swan Song." The elder Winchester packed up his iconic leather jacket (we sure do miss that jacket), his keys to the Impala, his gun, and a goodbye letter to Bobby before Sam and Cas managed to put an end to his suicidal plans. While viewers never had the chance to read the whole note, screen caps indicate that Dean put a sad spin on Doc Brown's "Where I'm going, we don't need roads."
Season 7: "Time After Time"
Transported to the past by Chronos, Dean hides a letter to Sam in the baseboard of an abandoned house. Dean doesn't believe he will make it back from 1944 and he tells his brother to take care of himself.
Season 10: "Black"
Turned into a demon by the Mark of Cain, Dean leaves the Men of Letter's bunker without saying a word to his brother. Eventually, Sam wanders into Dean's room and reads a note that says, "Sammy, let me go."*

*Yes, we know Dean didn't use a comma. We included it to appease any grammar police wandering around the interwebs.
