'Outlander' Spoilers: Jamie Discovers A Fate Worse Than Death, Series Takes Dark Turn With 'The Search' [VIDEO]
Outlander will take a decidedly dark turn during the second half of season 1.
Set to return to Starz on April 4, Outlander's midseason premiere will see Claire (Caitriona Balfe) recover from Black Jack Randall's (Tobias Menzies) attack, but darkness will descend on our characters once more before the season is out.
"The fifth episode back ends with everything in such a dark place (someone has been taken), that I'm probably going to have to go on medication to deal with the stress of how long I have to wait to see the sixth episode back," E! Online teased. "It is at that point that the series will get VERY dark, and we will all need to group hug on the daily."
Doctor Who' Season 9: No Movie In The Works But Not For The Reasons You Would Think
The episode in question is titled "The Watch," during which a Redcoat deserter from the past will appear while Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Ian (Steven Cree) join the Watch. Apparently that won't be the best decision for the Highlander as he will soon find himself enjoying the unwanted company of the Redcoats during episode 14, "The Search," according to Spoiler TV. Of course, matters only worsen when Black Jack makes Jamie realize there is a fate worse than death during "Wentworth Prison."
Find out more when Outlander returns with "The Reckoning" Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.
