Race car driver Helio Castroneves and his pro partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated Tuesday night on Week 3 of "Dancing with the Stars All Stars" 2012 season.

Surprisingly, Castroneves and Hightower were not the couple with the worst scores from Monday's competition. However viewers' votes were not enough to save them and keep them in the dance floor. Castroneves and his partner received three 8.5s from the judges after performing their dance on Monday for a total of 25.5. The worst score was held by Bristol Palin with 22.5 points, however tonight Palin and Mark Ballas were the first couple to be saved from the bottom three tonight, just minutes before the elimination was announced.

"I wanna thank my family, Chelsie and I wanna thank America, you guys voted for me," the Brazilian race car driver said tonight during the elimination show.

"DWTS: All Stars" is the season with the highest level of dancing and the judges are more strict with their scores this time.

The ladies are dominating the competition so far: Melissa Rycroft and his pro dancing partner Tony Dovolani are ahead in the scoreboard with 27 points; Kelly Monaco and her partner Valentin Chmerkovsky also have a score of 27 and and Gold Olympic medalist Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough scored 26.5.
