Jared Padalecki Calls 'Supernatural' Season 10 Finale 'Very Traumatizing', Compares To 'Swan Song'
"Sam learns that former Men of Letters, Magnus, once built a magical box and Sam sets out to find it in the hopes it can cure Dean of the Mark of Cain," The CW teased. "However, what he's not prepared for is the deadly alarm system Magnus set up on the box. When Sam opens the box, he puts both his and Dean's life in danger."
Padalecki previously warned fans that this episode will deal heavily with suicide and was filmed concurrently to the launch of his "Always Keep Fighting" campaign.
"The episode we finished shooting tonight (and that y'all will watch next month!) actually deals with suicide. In a way that only Supernatural can," Padalecki teased at the time.
Will the security system make the Winchesters consider ending their lives? There is a chance Magnus' spell could prompt flashbacks, especially considering Ackles was spotted filming in the series' old Purgatory location.
"The Werther Project" will air on April 22.
