'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: Lincoln To Bring 'Dope' New Powers, Romance For Skye? Chloe Bennet & Luke Mitchell Tease 'Afterlife' [VIDEO]
Lincoln will bring 'dope' new powers to Agents of SHIELD when the Inhuman arrives in "Afterlife."
SHIELD's mysterious new character will make his debut in the April 7 episode and will quickly become a major player in Skye's (Chloe Bennet) life. Uncertain in her powers and in need of guidance, Skye was swept away by Gordon (Jamie Harris) and during "One Door Closes" and it looks like the he will leave her with a new mentor.
"Lincoln is definitely one of the characters who helps Skye adjust with her powers, being an Inhuman himself -- he helps Skye adjust to her new powers in a way that makes her more comfortable with them," Bennet told Comic Book Resources before dropping a bombshell for any residual SkyWard shippers. "They might kind of like each other maybe at some point."
Lincoln's (Luke Mitchell) powers are currently unknown, but Bennet promises that they are 'dope.'
"He's reasonably confident in his own abilities. He's quite knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the whole Inhuman thing," Mitchell said, according to Comic book Resources. "I'd like to say more, but I just can't!"
