Bartley and company returned to work about two weeks ago, with the fourth season of Longmire still in production. He posted a photo on Instagram of himself wearing his Ferg outfit and saluting. "Deputy Ferguson. Reporting for duty," he said in the caption, with many fans expressing their excitement over the photo.

Longmire was surprisingly cancelled by A&E back in August after three seasons. The show was the highest rated scripted show on the network though it's adults 18-49 demographic was apparently too low for them to keep the show around.

After a huge Twitter campaign by the show's diehard fans, Netflix decided to pick the show up in November. The fourth season of Longmire is expected to be released in late 2015 or possibly early 2016 on Netflix, though the streaming site has not yet announced a specific premiere date.

The fourth season is expected to have 10 episodes, which will likely all be available to binge-watch at once.
