'Captain America: Civil War' To Feature Crossbones? Frank Grillo Teases Involvement [VIDEO]
Captain America: Civil War will get a visit from Frank Grillo's Crossbones.
The actor kept mum following his Captain America: Winter Solider role, but it appears Grillo will follow Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and the Russo brothers into their hero's third installment.
"A #civil-war is on the horizon. And it's gonna be a free for all," Grillo tweeted on Monday.
Filming for the upcoming Marvel film commenced filming at the start of April. Like Winter Soldier, the 2016 production will bring in more than one Avenger. The Ultron debacle will possibly lead to Superhero Registration Act, a proposition that will spark a war between Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America. As the financial backer of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and it's leader come to blows, the Avengers - and a host of new characters - will have to choose sides.
The project is believed to feature Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) at the very least. Casting calls have noted a need for citizens of Wakanda and those of Southeast Asian decent.
