'American Horror Story' Season 5 Cast: Taissa Farmiga 'Hopeful' About Returning In October For 'Hotel'?
Taissa Farmiga is "hopeful" that she will return for the fifth season of FX's American Horror Story, subtitled Hotel.
Which of Sarah Paulson's 'American Horror Story' Characters Is Best?
Farmiga spoke with JustJared in a new interview about a variety of topics, including American Horror Story. The actress starred in the first season, Murder House, as well as the third season, Coven. Farmiga admitted that she would like to be back for Hotel.
"Well, season four just ended. So I'm hoping the fans will be able see me in the next season of American Horror Story, but we'll see," she said. "No promises."
This is good news for fans of the 20-year-old actress, who sat out of Asylum and Freak Show to pursue other roles.
Farmiga also talked about her favorite prop from the set of the horror anthology series.
"My favorite prop from American Horror Story is probably the witch hat. It just fits me, and I love it. I love tipping it down so you can't see me, but I can flirt with the eyes. It's my favorite prop."
If Farmiga were to rejoin American Horror Story again, she would be part of an intriguing cast for Hotel that includes Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny. Only Bates' role is known thus far, with American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy revealing on Twitter that she will be "running" the hotel.
Farmiga previously worked with Bates in Coven, where the former played young witch Zoe Benson and the latter played the monstrous Madame LaLaurie.
American Horror Story: Hotel is expected to begin in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
