'The 100' Season 3: Will We Ever Meet Luna? Mysterious Grounder's Fate Uncertain [VIDEO]
The 100 has made it to the ocean, and the introduction of the Boat People clan may be on the horizon.
Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) first mentioned his friend Luna back in season 1, listing her clan as a place where Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) may find safe harbor. Octavia didn't take Lincoln up on his offer as problems between the Woods Clan and the Sky People intensified, but the leader of the coastal clan may come into play over a season later.
A joking tweet from writer Kim Shumway regarding a Lunexa 'ship and it's name's similarity to a certain insomnia medication launched a Twitter storm regarding the future of the unseen Grounder. While series creator Jason Rothenberg and his writers steered clear of giving a definitive answer regarding Luna and season 3, it does appear to be a topic of conversation in the recently reconvened writers room.

"Went on twitter to find all these notifications about Luna... Thought I was dreaming!" writers' assistant - and apparent Luna advocate - Lauren Muir tweeted on Wednesday.
