'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: Are Tom & Mr. Kaplan Friend or Foe? Pair Visit Red In 'Leonard Caul' PHOTOS [VIDEO]
The Blacklist's Tom Keen and Mr. Kaplan will step into the spotlight as Red stays hospitalized in "Lenoard Caul."
The master criminal took a bullet to the chest and will be momentarily laid up when the NBC drama returns from its brief April hiatus. With Red (James Spader) physically incapacitated, unraveling the mystery of the Fulcrum will fall to his friends and enemies alike.
"As Red fights for his life, he pleads with Liz (Megan Boone) to track down Nicholas Caul - a mysterious figure from his past with knowledge of The Fulcrum," NBC teased for the April 23 episode. "It's a race against time for the task force to locate Caul before Red's life is threatened again, while Tom (Ryan Eggold) proves helpful in an unexpected way."
New photos indicate that both Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) and Tom will drop by their employer/former employer's bedside before heading off into the night, guns blazing (see photos above). Kaplan, however, will be just a tad ominous, banding a pistol around in Red's operating room. Dembe (Hisam Tawfiq), meanwhile, will never drop his guard, determined to keep another malicious member of the alliance from harming his ailing charge.
