A video of the Karina Smirnoff fall on Dancing With the Stars has been generating a lot of views Tuesday as fans of the hit reality TV dance show were left stunned by the professional dancer’s fall which left her in tears.

Smirnoff is a professional ballroom dancer and 5-time U.S. National Champion and has become famous across households in America for her part on Dancing With the Stars. She has been a success on the show, winning in season 13 of "Dancing With the Stars" when she and her partner, J.R. Martinez, won the show.

However, on Monday night’s episode Smirnoff was seen in a painful fall as she danced with partner Apolo Anton Ohno during a hip-hop routine. She was seen falling, landing on her knees in the surprising fall.

Like a true professional, the dancer jumped up as quickly as she could and attempted to finish where she had left off. However, at the end of the performance she broke down in tears before the studio audience.

"I'm sorry, I feel like I messed up the whole routine," she said through her tears. "We worked so hard this week. Please please please."

The judges for once were more compassionate than viewers are used to seeing, and the two female judges in particular tried to comfort her and insisted that she was being too hard on herself.

"The beauty about tonight is that everyone is outside of their comfort zones Karina. You were out of your comfort zone. Every professional dancer was outside their comfort zone," Carrie Ann Inaba said. "We know that. We applaud you all."

"Karina, to be honest I wasn't even look at you so I don't even care," Len Goodman said , insisting her was focusing on her partner in the routine.
