The kitsune will enter her senior year of high school when season 5 premieres, but it looks like the MTV drama is in the middle of filming scenes with a miniature version of the sword wielding hero.
"My daughter... For the day," Tom Choi (Mr. Yukimura) posted on Wednesday, captioning a photo of himself and a six-or-seven-year-old girl who bears a striking resemblance to Arden Cho (Kira).
Teen Wolf resumed filming at the star of February and the production is fast approaching the halfway point for their 20-episode order. Keeping this in mind, a possible Kira-centric flashback could find its way into an episode shortly preceding the midseason mark.
Cho recently teased a tough season for her character - both physically and romantically.
"Kira has some really interesting things happening to her and her powers," Cho told College Fashionista. She's going to go through some tough challenges, both physically and emotionally with Scott. It's packed with tons of action, romance and comedy, while at the same time it's probably our darkest season yet."
