Little is known about the trajectory of the season 2 storyline, but the series will change hands as Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez take over a showrunners, according to Hypable. Despite this, Cox gave a few hints as to which villains he hopes Daredevil will take to the mat next year.
"Based on the show we've created, which is very grounded in reality, I'd like to see Punisher maybe show up, a little bit of Elektra maybe," Cox told Empire. "I wouldn't mind Black Widow making an appearance, and you can't think about Daredevil for too long without thinking of Bullseye."
