Good news for Evan Peters fans: he will be starring in the new season of FX's American Horror Story, titled Hotel.

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy tweeted Friday that Peters would officially be present in Hotel.

"This season, Evan Peters will be waiting for you in Room 64. #AHSHOTEL" Murphy wrote.

Naturally, this caused many fans to react in delight. Comments included "YESSSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS" and "MY HEART JUST SKIPPED A BEAT WHEN I GOT THIS NOTIF".

Peters has been a very popular member of American Horror Story from the beginning. His debut performance as troubled teen/ghost Tate Langdon in Murder House is still probably his most popular role on the series.

He played Kit Walker in Asylum, Kyle Spencer in Coven and "Lobster boy" Jimmy Darling in Freak Show.

With Jessica Lange leaving the show after Freak Show, Peters could be the only actor to have series regular status in all five seasons of the horror anthology series, assuming he is a series regular in Hotel.

Joining Peters in Hotel are other series regulars Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates, along with previous guest stars Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny. Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson are joining the show for the first time in Hotel.

The cast of Hotel is gradually coming together. It is not known if there will be more big additions to the cast or not, but this is already a good group of people to be assembled for one show.

American Horror Story: Hotel is expected to begin in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
