'Hannibal' Season 3: Finale Title & Air Date Revealed? Bryan Fuller Dishes On The Red Dragon [VIDEO]
Hannibal is rolling out the details for season 3, including a potential finale title and date.
The NBC psychological thriller won't return to screens until June 4, but a long he-ate-us- hiatus has fans chomping at the bit for any morsel of information. Series creator Bryan Fuller recently whet their appetites with episode titles for the second half of the season.
Gone are the episodic cuisine-inspired tiles, replaced instead by the names of William Blake paintings. The switch will start with episode 8, "The Great Red Dragon," as the Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage) reference heralds the killer's debut. Continuing in this vein, Digital Spy reports that each subsequent episode will take its name from Blake's series that depicts the Book of Revelation.

This means that episode 9 will be "...And the Woman Clothed in Sun," episode 10 will be "...And the Woman Clothed with the Sun," and episode 11 will be "...And the Beast From the Sea." Fuller did not give out the last two episode titles, but it is believed they will be a variation of the Revelations series' fourth and final piece, "And the Number of the Beast is 666."
Hannibal's production company, the DeLaurentiis Co., also gave a soft confirmation regarding the finale air date.
"Barring any preemption issues, the S3 finale should be on August 27," the company remarked on Friday.
